The entry-level E250 CDI 2.5-litre turbo diesel with five-speed auto transmission averages 5.9l/100km yet offers plenty of punch with 165kW/400Nm. In Avantgarde trim it is fitted out appropriately with sunroof, leather trim, 16-inch alloys and six-CD, nine-speaker audio.
